In 2017 Jake harnessed his passion for quality beef and community engagement, giving rise to the creation of “Ginger Jake’s.”

The culinary venture was more than just a food truck; it was a manifestation of Jake’s love for the craft, a celebration of Hardesty Cattle Co.’s top-notch Angus beef, and a means to connect directly with the community. The name “Ginger Jake’s” adds a personal touch, infusing the food truck venture with the same family warmth that characterizes Hardesty Ranch.

Ginger Jake’s initially launched with a single food truck, rapidly gained popularity for its commitment to using exclusively Angus beef from Hardesty Cattle Co. With a menu boasting ten unique variations of all-beef hot dogs and some secret menu items, Jake’s culinary venture quickly became a local sensation.

What began as a side passion project soon evolved into a thriving business. In 2021, Jake expanded his fleet, introducing a second food truck to accommodate the growing demand.

Jake and his wife, Liza, operate the food trucks, infusing the same dedication, passion, and attention to detail into Ginger Jake’s that defined the Hardesty Cattle Co. legacy. The success of Ginger Jake’s is not just about serving mouthwatering food but also about fostering a sense of community and sharing the Hardesty commitment beyond the ranch.
